Stone Monkey school is not a large school with huge enrollments and prepaid contracts . We

operate on a monthy fee basis usually with a small group of from 4 to 8 students.

Over the past 35 years I'd  taught at larger venues including hospitals, retirement communities,

spas and health fares etc.  Unfortunately teaching a "one size fits all" compromise rarely makes

anyone happy. For me it just doesn't work very well.

Now that I'm semi-retired and have only myself to worry about I'm taking on less students

than in the past. I prefer giving more detailed instructions (based on experience) to

fewer students rather than to amuse or entertain many.

Being small with little overhead, gives me lots of room to be independent.
So please don't be

offended if the criteria I'm suggesting doesn't suit you, it's better to agree at the start.

There are more than enough teachers willing to instruct without any such restrictions. If you

decide to go elsewhere I'd encourage you to do it, tai chi is well worth learning regardless.
